Meter Controlled Water Softener

Once installed and set up our water softener automatically performs a regeneration and supplies the entire property with softened water. It has the added benefit of being able to use either Block, Tablet or Granular water softener salt however we do recommend the use of tablet salt with this unit.

The Culligan Water Genie is designed with efficiency in mind.  At the heart of the water softener is the intelligent meter system that not only monitors your water consumption, but learns from it on a daily basis.
As well as being more accurate than most machines when deciding whether or not to do a regeneration, it also uses a proportional brining system to regenerate: Where most Softeners only have the capacity to perform a full regeneration, the Culligan Water Genie will make an allowance for any unused capacity and perform a shorter regeneration using less salt and less water.   
Another intelligent feature on this softener is its ability to perform mini regenerations:  resin is more efficient at removing hardness from water when it is fresh from a regeneration.  By constantly monitoring your water usage this softener will perform mini (top up) regenerations in order to keep the resin as efficient as possible.

The protocol used in the system design is based on the extensive experience in the UK. The easy to follow programming that allows different hardness settings to be stored, together with its intelligent meter and regeneration system, makes this a very efficient machine.
